So I bought a trumpet a few weeks ago, and it’s just as hard to play as I imagined. I am slowly moving along, playing it for a few minutes mostly every day, trying to get some clear notes. Curious to see what jazz tune I can find to start off with, once I get to that stage. Lots in B flat to chose from though.
Going from one string instrument to another isn’t too bad for me, but this experience is humbling, and lip numbing. But at least it sounds great for everyone else in the house to listen to…
